Showcase at Shab Row Stage

I had a blast performing a set alongside FAME members Brenden Bosmans and April on South on October 6th, 2024. We each played 30 minute (or so) sets while the audience reclined in Adirondack chairs and sipped coffee from the nearby Frederick Coffee Company. Aside from the abundance of spotted lantern flies, it was a perfect day, and perfect way, to cap a busy summer and kick off fall.

Play on the Porch Day 2024 in New Market, MD

Music bloomed from the porches of historic New Market, MD on its 2nd annual Play on the Porch festival. Organized by Brooke Fox, it drew musicians from all over the area, including yours truly. While I started off playing a set of my songs, I was eventually joined on “stage” by fellow performers RJ Wayne and Mike French to play some bluegrass standards. It was totally ad-hoc and spontaneous, and above all fun – which is to me what music is all about.

Woodsboro Music Festival

The heat was downright sweltering on the 4th of July, and though the stage was shady, we were all the more grateful to the audience for sticking around. I played a set of my songs, along with plenty of other musicians from the Frederick, MD area.
