Lessons

I work with beginning guitar students of all ages, either online or in-person from my home studio in Hanover, MD. Together, we can build the skills you’ll need to play your favorite songs, perform at jams and open mics, and even write your own songs. 

My curriculum is built around getting you up and playing songs as quickly as possible. Some things we can work on include:

• Chords and basic music theory (“the least you need to know”)
• Metronome practice and playing in time
• Scales, arpeggios, and why they’re handy
• Strumming patterns and grooves
• Singing while playing
• Finding melodies and chord progressions by ear
• Adding cool details to help your performances stand out

I offer a 50% discount on the first lesson, with no long-term commitment.
